Alaska's Kenai Peninsula is one of the most breathtaking gems one could ever lay their eyes on, and a visit to Alaska is like one big long sight seeing trip no matter where you end up; however, there are several destinations that stand out among the rest, and are certainly worth the detour.


Some of these trips include The Kenai Fjords Cruise out of Seward, A flight seeing trip in a bush plane, and a scenic float through the Upper Kenai River and the Kenai Canyon
A recreational Disneyland is one way you could describe this area, and it is virtually impossible to run out of things to do. Many folks decide to leave one or two days open in their schedule to experience some of the other things the Kenai Peninsula has to offer. Your hosts, guides, and locals will be very helpful at pointing you in the right direction.



The Kenai Peninsula and surrounding area is incredibly diverse, and truly has something for everyone to enjoy! Some travel to Alaska specifically to fish (and for good reason) while others prefer to sight-see and take in the culture, wildlife, and scenery that go hand in hand with this great state. Most of the guests of Fishology Alaska spend the majority of their time fishing, however, there is often some spare time after the fishing trip has concluded, and many guests also take a day or two to spend DIY. One of the most common questions I get from guests and other tourists is "other than fishing, what else is there to do around here?" So... I have compiled a list of things to do on the Kenai Peninsula and surrounding area, and while the list is long, it is not an exclusive list by any means, and the grand total list of things to do on the Kenai Peninsula is as long as your imagination allows it to be.
